This is a fantastic, semi-evergreen, creeping groundcover perennial which forms a dense, weed-suppressing mat of bright green, serrated, three-lobed foliage similar to that of strawberries. It is a robust, easy-to-grow variety producing masses of showy, single, bright yellow flowers which are set off beautifully against the backdrop of foliage.
Excellent for using as groundcover, edging a border or growing alongside paths, its drought tolerance also makes it suitable for areas under trees or on a bank. It is adaptable to a wide range of conditions and situations and looks stunning when allowed to naturalise native, woodland or rock gardens or grown beneath shrubs and in-between hostas.
