Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd'
This superb, columnar Thuja boasts beautiful emerald-green foliage, with deep golden bronze tips. It makes a superb specimen with its statement columnar habit, and forms a superb low-maintenance hedge when planted 60cm apart. It is suitable for growing in a rock garden and can be grown in a large container. It will, however, need protection from drying winds, especially when young.
