Rodgersia 'Bronze Peacock'

(Rogersia) Back to Perennials
Rodgersia 'Bronze Peacock'
The darkest foliage of all the Rodgersia, the leaves are thick and glossy and make a great addition to any garden, especially a woodland theme. The new leaves appear in spring, fanning like a peacocks tail. Equally dramatic trusses of pink flowers on red stems shoot up in early summer, followed by dark seeds heads.
Rodgersia ‘Bronze Peacock’ prefers moist, shady conditions but can tolerate dryer conditions once the plant has established. Leaves can turn crispy if exposed to too much sunlight.
