Picea orientalis 'Aurea'
This is a tall, symmetrical, evergreen tree which forms a dense, narrow pyramid of glossy, mid-green foliage with golden-yellow growth appearing in the spring. This growth darkens to green with age, reducing the likelihood of sunburn damage during the summer. The golden-yellow new growth contrasts delightfully with the older green foliage, making this conifer ideal as a specimen in medium to large gardens.
