Iris laevigata 'Snowdrift'

Snowdrift is a pure white iris with drooping petals, lilac markings and golden falls. Perfect for growing in an aquatic basket in ponds, next to streams, lakes, or in a bog garden. Prefers shallow rather than deep water.
Iris takes its name from the Greek word for Rainbow, referring to the wide variety of colours that they are available in. There are over 300 species in the genus Iris, and they are much loved by many gardeners due to the colourful displays they create and the elegance of the flowers. They also make excellent cut flowers.
