(Umbrella Bamboo)

Back to Bamboos

Fargesia murielae 'Simba'

This dwarf variety of bamboo has a tight growth habit and low, arching branches. It has fresh, vibrant green foliage and will form a dense and bushy specimen which grows to no more than two metres in height. The beautiful bright leaves emerge early in the spring season, adding colour to otherwise dull areas of the garden.

This variety recieved the RHS AGM in 1992 and has been considered a firm favourite amongst gardeners ever since.
