Fallopia baldschuanica

(Russian Vine)

Back to Climbers

Fallopia baldschuanica
Well renowned for being a very fast grower, the Russian vine is good for covering garden sheds, walls, fences, or anything else that it can twine around, in a short space of time. Bright leaves and panicles of creamy white flowers make this plant excellent for covering just about anything very quickly.

Due to its fast nature and sometimes invasive growing habit, Russian vine should be planted with caution; it is difficult to remove once established, and can smother more delicate plants, so be sure to choose the planting site carefully.
