Clematis ‘Jackmanii’
The Clematis ‘Jackmanii’ is widely considered one of the most exquisite varieties of blooming deciduous Clematis. It bears gorgeous deep purple flowers throughout July, and these can last for up to 10 weeks (Group 3). The deep green foliage contrasts beautifully with the flower colour, making for a showy and handsome addition to any garden.

Perfect as a specimen plant, or for covering a fence or railings. It can also be trained to grow up a tree, or over arches and pergolas. They prefer their roots in shade, whilst their ‘heads’ are in the sun, and smaller, low-growing ground cover plants such as ferns or grasses can be used to achieve this.
