Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Alumii'
A slender, conical, dense leaved, evergreen conifer whose young growth is glaucous blue, later transforming into a beautiful blue-grey. This conifer makes an excellent specimen plant, or can be used as a hedge. It is quite slow growing and may spread somewhat with age, and is also considered to be relatively pollution resistant. It is low maintenance, will tolerate a wide range of soils, and will flourish in full sun or partial shade.

The name ‘Chamaecyparis’ is derived from the Greek word ‘Khamai’ meaning ‘ground’ and ‘kuparissos’ for ‘cypress’.
