Campanula poscharskyana

(Trailing Bellflower)

Back to Perennials

Campanula poscharskyana

This pretty semi-evergreen trailing perennial is much loved for its lavender-blue star shaped flowers. Spreads with ease to form a beautiful carpet of blooms from mid spring to early autumn. Excellent for covering any bare patches of your garden, also suitable for covering banks and slopes, edging garden paths or for creeping between stepping stones.
Campanula takes its name from its bell-shaped flowers, campanula is Latin for “little bell”. They are an excellent addition to any garden, especially for a cottage garden scheme.
