Campanula persicifolia 'Kelly’s Gold'

(Goldleaf Bellflower) Back to Perennials
Campanula persicifolia 'Kelly’s Gold'

Kelly’s Gold is a golden-leaved version of the popular peach-leaved bellflower found in many old cottage gardens. Bright golden foliage forms in low clumps while flowing stems grow upright. Large white flowers have delicately stained light blue edges, bloom in summer and make excellent cut flowers. Ideal for planting in borders, cottage gardens or partially shady woodland. For greater effect plant in groups rather than individually.
Kelly’s Gold is a low maintenance perennial suitable for most well drained soils. Remove dead flowers to encourage new buds and once flowering is over the foliage can be cut back hard to encourage fresh leaves for some autumn interest.
